“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” - Brené Brown
I believe people are inherently good and deeply wired for connection. I believe healing begins when we are able to reconnect with our values, identity, and our purpose, allowing us to move toward greater peace and wholeness.
My goal as a counselor is to create a space that feels safe, trusted, and collaborative. I believe the counseling process should be shaped by your goals. Together, we will explore how your experiences have brought you to where you are now, while building insight and practical tools to support meaningful change in your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
I approach counseling as both a science and an art. I value evidence-based practice while also prioritizing trust, authenticity, and relationship. I primarily draw from person-centered therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am committed to treating each client as a unique individual, shaped by their own experiences, culture, relationships, and context. I strive to remain curious and adaptable, allowing the counseling process to fit your specific needs.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University and bring nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership and youth development. I am currently completing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Cincinnati and am a Counselor-in-Training licensed through the state of Ohio, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2027.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy walking Cincinnati’s parks, reading, spending time with my husband and our toddler, connecting with friends, and exploring coffee shops (my go-to order is a half-sweet vanilla latte!)
